Carmilla: A Ballet in Two Acts
Carmilla is coming to the Spark Theatre Festival! This spring, sink your teeth into Pangea Dance Collective’s full-length contemporary ballet adaptation of Joseph Sheridan Le Fanu’s classic gothic romance. Follow Laura, an isolated young noblewoman, and Carmilla, the vampiress disguised as her companion, as they fall in love and redefine what femininity means to them.
By bringing the queer love story to the forefront, Pangea Dance Collective’s Carmilla is a refreshing adaptation that will delight both new and longtime ballet enthusiasts!

Pangea Company Auditions: Contemporary (CLOSED)
We are seeking professional dancers for our Fall 2025 Season! Sign up by June 21st to reserve your spot for the weekend:
June 28: Ballet and pointe audition
June 29: Contemporary audition
Note: You do not have to attend both auditions to be considered for a role; you can attend either or both.
Why Pangea? We are proof that you can produce excellent concert dance without compromising dancers’ mental and physical well-being. With a human-first approach to the creative process, we empower our dancers to use their voices in the studio, produce their own works, and discover their unique artistry onstage. Led by BIPOC women, the stories we tell are often intersectional in nature and seek to represent the diversity of our audiences.
We are looking for dancers who connect to our mission, bring a positive attitude to the studio, and are passionate about the future of concert dance. If this sounds like you, sign up for our audition today!

Dance Speaks
INTRODUCING: DANCE SPEAKS! A day-long, one-of-a-kind creative writing workshop for dancers that encourages participants to identify and celebrate their individual voices.
Just because dance is a silent art form doesn’t mean the dancer has to be silent! Through choreographic and improvisational movement exercises, dancers will tap into their creativity, draft written pieces, and receive feedback from professional writers and dancers.
Dancers will also be gifted a physical anthology of their creative writing upon completing the workshop, along with monetary compensation.
